I start with a blank item of bisque - the name for a blank piece of unfired pottery. This is my canvas and then I draw on the design before painting with special paint. The item is then glazed and fired in an industrial kiln to 1000 degrees. This is a lengthy process and takes a full 8 hours to heat up and another 8 hours to cool down. There’s lots of processes to go through to create your pieces hence the 2-3 week turnaround time. This can be ordered in either a dinner plate (25cm diameter), cereal bowl (14cm x 7cm) or mug (8.5cm high) 

Please let me know the name and colour of the rim you would like, although pink is favourite for this design!

On the plate I can also change the colour of the fairy’s hair and skin to suit. You are more than welcome to send through a photo if you would like me to match as best I can. Please see colour charts in photo This is meant to be a representation rather than an exact likeness. 

On the bowl or mug the fairy theme is symbolised by a fairy wand and “Powered by Fairy Dust”.
