This is a range I have developed over the past 12 years and I’m still adding to the collection! Totally unique each piece represents the members of your family. I can fit up to 6 people on one coaster. They make a great gift for grandparents and as a Christmas stocking filler.
Coaster is 10cm square and comes with a cork bottom.
Just let me know the wording you would like, followed by members of the family in the order you would like them to appear (name, skin colour) and I do the rest! I can represent four-legged friends too with a paw print!
Whilst keeping my little people quite generic I try to match skin tones. Please see the skin colour tile. If you don’t feel that any of the options are appropriate please get in touch and we can look at other options.
I also do matching mugs, plates and photo frames so if you like the design take a look at my the full Fingerprint Families collection.
I often get asked about the processes I go through to get the finished article so here goes...
I start with a blank item of bisque - the name for a blank piece of unfired pottery. This is my canvas and then I draw on the design before painting with special paint. The item is then glazed and fired in an industrial kiln to 1000 degrees. This is a lengthy process and takes a full 8 hours to heat up and another 8 hours to cool down. There’s lots of processes to go through to create your pieces hence the 2-3 week turnaround time. Please let me know if you have any questions about the process or would like me to create anything bespoke.
Who doesn’t use a coaster?! These brighten up any table.
They are 10.2cm x 10.2cm and come with a cork backing.
This design comes in two colour ways, either the traditional orange paired with a classic navy blue, or the fresh Seafoam enhanced by a softer dark blue.
Matching bowls available.

I start with a blank item of bisque - the name for a blank piece of unfired pottery. This is my canvas and then silkscreen on the crab design. The item is then fired in an industrial kiln to 1000 degrees. This sets the outline.
I then add coloured and crystal glazes before clear glazing and firing again to 1000 degrees.
