This is a canvas that hangs on the wall - it can hang on any picture hook and replace any picture for the festive season! Featuring my Vintage Santa design, this canvas can be personalised to feature any family or house names or you can choose to have the more generic ‘Merry Christmas’.

I often get asked about the processes I go through to get to the finished article, so here goes...
I start with a blank item of bisque - the name for a blank piece of unfired pottery. This is my canvas and then I draw on the design before painting with special paint. For this platter the Santa is silkscreened on and fired once so the design doesn’t move and then decorated before being glazed and fired again in an industrial kiln to 1000 degrees. This is a lengthy process and takes a full 8 hours to heat up and another 8 hours to cool down. There’s lots of processes to go through to create your pieces hence the 2-3 week turnaround time.
