Personalised ceramic Mermaid Dreams individual items.  

This design can be ordered in either a dinner plate (25cm diameter), a cereal bowl (14cm x 7cm),  a country style mug (8.5cm) or an egg cup (6cm).

Please let me know the name and accent colour you would like for the rim of the plate and inside of other items. I use a lilac colour as a standard but can incorporate any of the colours in the charts in the photos. 

On the plate I can also change the colour of the mermaid’s hair and skin to suit the recipient. You are more than welcome to send through a photo if you would like me to match as best I can. Please see colour charts in photo.

Your items are food safe and although technically your piece is dishwasher safe and will not fade or tarnish, I recommend hand washing to keep it perfect. Please do not use in the microwave.

I often get asked about the processes I go through to get the finished article so here goes...

I start with a blank item of bisque - the name for a blank piece of unfired pottery. This is my canvas and then I draw on the design before painting with coloured glazes. The item is then clear glazed and fired in an industrial kiln to 1000 degrees. This is a lengthy process and takes a full 8 hours to heat up and another 28 hours to cool down.

There’s lots of processes to go through to create your pieces hence the 2 week turnaround time. Please let me know if you have any questions about the process or would like me to create anything bespoke.
