This pasta bowl is 22cm x 4cm and a perfect size and shape for anyone who eats a lot of pasta or rice dishes. 

Please let me know the name and accent colour you would like in the personalisation box. I use a lilac colour as a standard but can incorporate any of the colours in the charts in the photos. 

I can also change the colour of the mermaid’s hair and skin to suit the recipient. You are more than welcome to send through a photo if you would like me to match as best I can. Please see colour charts in photo.

Your bowl is food safe and although technically your piece is dishwasher safe and will not fade or tarnish, I recommend hand washing to keep it perfect. Please do  not use in the microwave. 
I often get asked about the processes I go through to get the finished article so here goes...

I start with a blank item of bisque - the name for a blank piece of unfired pottery. This is my canvas and then I draw on the design before painting with coloured glazes. The item is then clear glazed and fired in an industrial kiln to 1000 degrees. This is a lengthy process and takes a full 8 hours to heat up and another 28 hours to cool down.

There’s lots of processes to go through to create your pieces hence the 2 week turnaround time. Please let me know if you have any questions about the process or would like me to create anything bespoke.

Please let me know the name/ writing and colour you would like the rim of the bowl - the hearts will be in the same colour unless otherwise requested.

I created ColourSplash to brighten up tables and, because of the vivid mix of colours, these pieces can sit with any colour dinner set, giving a quirky feel! 

The splashes of colour are created from globules of dried coloured glaze that I collect and produce and sprinkle on top of clear glaze. Once fired in the kiln (to 1000 degrees) they melt and leave a raised, quite tactile surface. 

Each one is totally unique, I try to make sure there's a good balance of colours but they do have their own personality and differences!

These ramekins are perfect for sauces, nuts or dips. They make a great accompaniment with the other items and can co-ordinate with lots of other ColourSplash items.
