These brighten up any table. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey are 10.2cm x 10.2cm and come with a cork backing. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis design comes in two colour ways, either the traditional orange paired with a classic navy blue, or the fresh Seafoam enhanced by a softer dark blue. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMatching bowls available.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI often get asked about the processes I go through to get the finished article so here goes...\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI start with a blank item of bisque - the name for a blank piece of unfired pottery. This is my canvas and then silkscreen on the crab design. The item is then fired in an industrial kiln to 1000 degrees. This sets the outline. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI then add coloured and crystal glazes before clear glazing and firing again to 1000 degrees. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis is a lengthy process and takes a full 8 hours to heat up and another 28 hours to cool down.
